Direct to media (DTM) is when an image, graphic or illustration is printed directly onto the surface of a substrate such as Foamex, dibond or acrylic. By removing the paper element, you allow the natural surface of the substrate to impact the finished image for effect.
DTM is an ideal choice for travelling exhibitions as it is more durable on the edges and corners compared to mounted prints and has the added benefit of becoming water-resistant.
